Over the past year, we have been working to bring PACE financing to the region. Our new program, GC-PACE, is a unique financing tool that allows commercial and industrial property owners to finance energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements through a voluntary assessment on their property tax bill. GC-PACE Receives Green Business Award

The Energy Alliance and the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority were recognized during the Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2015 Green Business Awards – http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/print-edition/2015/03/06/2015-green-business-awards-winner-port-of-greater.html for their innovative GC-PACE financing program. The organizations took home the award for Nonprofits in the Product/Service category. Our partnership with the Port Authority led to the successful implementation of PACE financing within the City of Cincinnati and was used to finance energy efficiency improvements on a property owned by the Port Authority in Roselawn. Clermont County Commissioners Support PACE

Contractors and business owners in Clermont County have contacted us over the past several months to learn more about GC-PACE financing. Due to their high level of interest, we began working with the county’s leadership to help them understand the benefits GC-PACE could provide. During their February 25th session, the Clermont County Commissioners passed a resolution expressing their support of GC-PACE financing. EPAD Energy Efficiency Financing Approved by Kentucky Legislature

After a nearly two-year effort, PACE financing is coming to Kentucky. The recently signed law authorizes local governments to create Energy Project Assessment Districts, or EPADs, that will allow business owners to make critical energy-related improvements to their properties. The Energy Alliance will be working with stakeholders to bring this innovative financing tool to building owners throughout the state. PACE Case Study: Class A Office Building

While PACE financing is relatively new to our region, over 300 projects valued at more than $100 million have been completed nationally. Our friends at PACENow have developed a number of case studies highlighting how PACE financing has been used around the country. Ohio’s Energy Future Tour is coming to Cincinnati

On Monday, June 1st, Ohio’s Energy Future Tour is coming to Cincinnati. Experts from around the region will be on hand to discuss Ohio’s energy policy and how to pave the way to a better energy future for businesses and residents. The event will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Cincinnati State’s Advanced Technology Learning Center. Learn more. – http://www.ohioenergyfuturetour.com/
